Golf Tournament

For this event, we have created two different golf tournaments in one fun-filled day. Over the past event has grown from 8o to over 350 participants in three short years, while maintaining a 50/50 balance of industry partners to association executives and meeting planners.

Course 1: RTJII
The Hospitality Tournament follows a scramble format and is a fun and festive way to enjoy a day of golf without worrying about your score. Enjoy tastes of seasonal fare and sip on your favorite cocktails and craft beers in between holes. A relaxed pace of play allows you time to mix and mingle with your peers and prospective customers, while enjoying exciting contests and games along the course. Prizes are awarded for the top three low gross scoring teams, hole contests include closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, longest putt and more.

Course 2: Norman
The Business Services Tournament is for the more serious golfer. Golfers play their own ball (stroke play) and handicaps are employed. Golfers on this course will experience an exclusive club membership for the day, from valet parking to shoe shine and spike replacement service. Because we limit the number of players on this course to 100 and have fewer games and distractions on this course, we will ensure a faster pace of play and allow you to make meaningful connections with your peers and prospects. Prizes are awarded for the top three low gross and low net scoring teams, hole contests include closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, longest putt and more.

For Beginning Golfers

The Clinic is a one-of-a-kind day of golf instruction for both men and women. This event will create the perfect opportunity for golfers at all skill levels to network with their peers while learning the basics of golf from PGA and LPGA instructors. Learning such skills as golf etiquette, chipping, putting and full-swing instruction, participants will gain key skills and build the necessary confidence to successfully conduct business on the golf course.

Tennis Tournament

Designed as a networking event for tennis players of all skill levels, this round robin tournament will be led by a USTA seasoned professional and take place simultaneously with the golf clinic and golf tournament. Participation will include breakfast, awards reception lunch and prizes for top male and female participant as well as most improved?

Simple Spa and Wellness Day

Come get away from the hustle and bustle of the Beltway by indulging in your favorite treatments such as anti-aging facials, massages, or hands and feet treatments; one-on-one consultations with experts in health & wellness; and opportunities to network over fresh, healthy, and wholesome meals.

Vineyard Tour

Calling all wine lovers: Join your industry friends and colleagues on a tour of Virginia’s Wine Country. Over 400 years ago, the nation's first wines were produced in Virginia! This year’s vineyard tour will include two award winning wineries where attendees will learn about each vineyard and their wine making process. Stop to admire each Vineyard's breathtaking scenery, set against beautiful rolling hills. This is a VIP treatment you won't want to miss! Participation includes transportation from Lansdowne Golf Club, breakfast, box lunch and goody bag.
