At the age of 26, Spence was named CEO of an international Rockefeller foundation, overseeing projects in 20 countries and reporting directly to the Chairman of the Board, Winthrop P. Rockefeller III. He left the foundation in his early 30’s as CEO of an international training and consulting firm and has been the owner or CEO of four additional companies.
Since 1994, Spence has presented workshops, speeches and coaching to more than 400 clients including Microsoft, Abbott, AbbVie, Apple, Coca-Cola, Qualcomm and dozens of private companies, associations and not-for-profits. Spence frequently speaks at the world’s most prestigious conferences where he addresses a wide range of business topics.

Spence is the author of five books and contributing author to several others. Spence serves as Executive in Residence at the University of Florida’s Warrington School of Business and as an advisor to a select group of startup companies.
